2nd Grade Math
This week we continue to work with double digit addition. We will have our chapter test on Tuesday. Then we will begin double digit subtraction. The boys are having a difficult time with double digit addition so please keep practicing with flash cards at home to increase their speed.

1st Grade Reading
My students completed Unit 4 this week in Wilson Fundations. In this unit they learned about
the bonus letters f, l, & s. If a word has one vowel immediately followed by an f, l, or s at the end, that consonant is doubled. Such as puff, hill, and miss. We also worked with the glued sound "all."
Students also continued to work on phonics skills as well as reading fluency and comprehension.
